I am Diane Exavier, a writer and maker from Brooklyn, USA.
This is a space for thoughts and words I’ve contained in paragraphs and prose. I have another space called STUDIES for other things in different containers. I tweet for my cat Peaches @peacheslechat.
THE LEAP AND THE NOONDAY SUN lends its title from the words of James Baldwin in The Devil Finds Work:
But beneath all this, as under a graveyard pallor, or the noonday sun, lay the fact that the leap demanded that I commit myself to the clear impossibility of becoming a writer, and attempting to save my family that way.
I try to commit to this leap as often as the sun comes up. There is much work to be done after the jump.
